Spring Retreat

Camp Glisson - Dahlonega, GA

Since 1925, generations of children and youth have been invited by North Georgia United Methodist Churches to the forests surrounding Cane Creek Falls just north of Dahlonega. Over the years, this place -- long since known as Camp Glisson -- has become holy ground as thousands have experienced God's loving presence through the beauty and the people they encounter here at camp.

Creek hikes, kayaking, campfires, games, worship, swimming, climbing and play all combine to provide opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. Many North Georgia clergy and those in full-time Christian service have heard God's call to ministry in this place. Even more have had their personal faith strengthened through the very real presence of God here.

Summer  Mission  Trip

Opportunities include: working construction, working in the local community, hosting seminars, VBS's, sports camps, school assemblies, preaching in local churches, music, skits, and other evangelistic or discipleship outreaches. All of these opportunities are engineered to allow CMA mission teams to come alongside the local church and partner with them in Kingdom work.

When teams come to Eleuthera in the Bahamas they will stay at the Eleuthera Bible Training Center.
The facilities include a two dormitories, one for men and one for women. We have indoor pluming and air condition in both dorms.
